Why not do something different this year? Enjoy Christmas by the seaside…
Wrap up warm to enjoy long bracing walks on the beach and Bacton woods, festive menus at the great pubs and restaurants in the area and then cosy up in the warm chalet for the evening. Seascape is well stocked with a selection of games, books, jigsaws and dvds (lots of Christmas favourites!)
Seascape will be decorated for the Christmas season with a coastal Christmas theme – see our blog for December 2013.
There is lots of seasonal fun in the area for all generations – the Christmas Seaside Special at Cromer Pier, panto at Sheringham Little Theatre and Christmas Spectacular at the Hippodrome in Great Yarmouth.
Why not take a day out for some Christmas shopping or sale shopping
in Norwich or Holt?
Join in the atmosphere of the Boxing day swims (participation not obligatory!) at Mundesley, Overstrand or Cromer.
Visit Thursford for their amazing Christmas show – hugely popular so do make sure you get tickets well in advance, take the kids on a Santa Special on the North Norfolk railway or take in more fresh air at Fairhaven Gardens on Boxing Day with a guided tour with their head gardener or visit the seal pups at Horsey.
Blickling and Felbrigg Hall are a short drive away with the halls spectacularly decked for the festive season.
“From the moment I walked in on Christmas Eve I felt right at home.
A lot of thought has gone into the finishing touches to make this feel like a
home and not a holiday rental. My two dogs, Harvey and Harry,
are thoroughly exhausted after their daily walks on the beach.
I was looking for a nice Christmas escape and that is exactly
what I found at Seascape”
