AUTUMN BREAKS AT THE COAST

It’s a wonderful time to enjoy an Autumn break at the coast.    The beaches are virtually empty and there is still so much to see and do in the area…

Apart from walking on our fabulous sandy beach (a matter of steps away from the chalets), you can still visit the  famous gardens at East Ruston which are open to enjoy until 27 October. You can crunch through the autumn leaves at Bacton and Pigney’s Woods, enjoy delicious pub lunches by open fires or just cosy up in our chalets….

Our favourite thing at the chalets – the wonderful uplifting sunrises and you do not have to get up at 4.30 am to watch the magnificent sight of the sun rising at this time of the year !!

What do Seascape and Seabreeze have to offer ? Both boutique, stylish chalets sleep four people in two bedrooms, are warm and cosy, full of DVDs and games to enjoy and of course, Broadband.   Outside, gated and secure decking area with a full uninterrupted sea view from both chalets and deckchairs to soak up the last of the autumn rays..

Our stylish seaside chalets are both dog friendly, bright and cheerful for you and your family – all dog restrictions end in September, so your dogs can really enjoy the beautiful beach on our doorstop – the local cafe Sugar and Spice, welcomes dogs with opens arms!!

We can offer short breaks, weekends or Monday to Friday or a full week starting on a Monday or Friday – possibility of flexibility subject to availability ….

We have availability and October reductions – weekend/midweek breaks now reduced from £375 to £325, 7 night breaks now reduced from £525 to £450 !

Why not treat yourself and your family to some quality time in a beautiful location in Norfolk this Autumn !

Check our website www.seascapebeachholiday.co.uk to see availability

East Ruston garden Autumn

Earlier in the blog I posted some photos of East Ruston garden in the Spring.   I returned to visit the garden last weekend to see it in a different season. It was a gorgeous weekend, with very few people around, so a lovely time to mooch round, soak up the Autumn sunshine and take a few snaps…..  and have a lovely piece of cake and tea sitting outside!

The garden is open from late March through to 25 October on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoon.   Do check their website for specific dates! If you are a keen gardener, do not miss the chance for a visit – less than 5 mins drive away and a lovely afternoon out….

Opening day at East Ruston Old Vicarage gardens

Sunday  30 March saw the opening of the gardens for the season .      My highlights – beautiful sight of magnolias in full bloom and heady fragrance of huge containers of hyacinths.

The garden is in the process of reawakening for Spring, but really interesting to see the changes for this year.    Apparently the location of the garden creates a unique microclimate for growing, hence the wide variety of unusual plants that can be grown. There are lots of quirky  features to see and, if you are interested in gardening, a lovely way to spend some peaceful time….

The gardens are about 5 mins drive from Seascape and open 1 pm to 5.30 pm on Wed, Thur, Fri, Sat and Sunday (and bank hols) until Saturday 25 October.
